On March 13th, emo and post-hardcore band Movements brought their electrifying live show to Boston, joined by an incredible lineup featuring Citizen and Scowl. Hailing from Orange County, California, Movements have been on a nonstop global tour, with recent stops across Latin America, Europe, the UK, and Canada. They kicked off their spring U.S. run less than a month ago in Arizona—and Boston fans were more than ready for their return. For some in the crowd, this show was a long-awaited reunion. Fans who have been following Movements since their 2017 debut album, Feel Something, sang along to every word. Others were catching their very first live set, getting treated to old favorites and newer hits from their latest records, RUCKUS! and No Good Left to Give. It’s clear why Movements has cultivated such a loyal following—each tour draws bigger, more devoted crowds than the last.
