Boston has been itching for concert season, and a rock show at TD Garden was the perfect fix. Disturbed made their way back to Massachusetts for The Sickness 25th Anniversary Tour, joined by special guests Sevendust and Three Days Grace. Fans gathered early, buzzing with excitement to see some of the bands that helped shape modern rock.
Kicking off the night, Sevendust hit the stage and delivered an incredible performance that immediately amped up the crowd. Frontman Lajon Witherspoon brought raw energy and powerful vocals, and there was even a heartfelt moment when he paused to express deep gratitude for the band’s loyal fanbase. You could feel the emotion in the room—decades of connection between the band and their listeners on full display.
Next up, Canadian rock giants Three Days Grace took over. The energy in TD Garden surged as fans experienced the long-awaited return of original lead singer Adam Gontier, performing alongside Matt Walst, who has fronted the band since 2013. Now sharing vocal duties as a powerhouse duo, they brought a heavy dose of nostalgia, kicking things off with Animal I Have Become from their iconic 2006 album One-X. Hearing Gontier’s voice live again was the throwback longtime fans had been waiting for—and they weren’t disappointed.
Finally, it was time for the headliners. Lead vocalist David Draiman made an unforgettable entrance, rolled out in a straight jacket before breaking free to launch into Voices from their legendary album The Sickness. The crowd went wild, fists in the air, as the band unleashed a barrage of hits. Pyro lit up the stage, and the roar of the audience was deafening. By the time they tore into Down with the Sickness as their fourth song, TD Garden was absolutely electric.
Boston showed up, sang every word, and moshed like it was 2000 all over again. If this night was any indication, concert season is officially back—and louder than ever.
