Emerging singer/songwriter Rocco continues to expand and grow his stage presence as demonstrated at Outside Lands this year. With the laidback vibes and gentle catchy hooks of songs like “Baby Blue,” “Clouds,” and “Always Do,” Rocco had the early crowd swaying and singing along. It was the twenty-one year-old’s first festival performance, as well as his very first festival even attending, something that he made as part of a goal and promise to himself. Rocco explained, ” I had a strong resolve with myself saying that my first festival that I’m ever going to go to will be one where I’m on stage, so I kept that promise with me throughout my whole career.” Still in the early stages of his career, Rocco entered the bedroom pop music scene with his breakout single, “Spin You Round” (2022) showcased his unique take on the genre. He was introduced to the music industry through SoundCloud rap and Musical.ly, now known was TikTok before he interacted with indie pop. On his debut EP, Her Favorite Flowers (2023).
