The excitement surrounding the two weekends of four shows by ILLENIUM has been buzzing around the San Francisco Bay Area ever since the announcement. Performing in his hometown has always been special for ILLENIUM and setting up shop for the two weekends sent fans into a frenzy that all the shows sold out immediately.
Each show has been uniquely curated and features live performers with Taylor Dearman on guitar and Bonnie Brooksbank on violin, while the visuals are always stunning that includes plenty of pyro and lasers. Illenium exceeded expectations on the second night of the first weekend and the photos only told half the story. The sold-out crowd was dancing, singing, screaming and brought all the positive vibes throughout the night that was a major highlight of the weekend.
Prior to his set, Ghengar, the side project of Ghastly, was incredibly interactive and had the crowd headbanging and fist-pumping to his unique take on dubstep. The visuals were fun to watch and fit perfectly with dark theme. Ryan Nevis opened the night and had the early crowd dancing and singing with an impressive set.
