Brandi Cyrus is no stranger to the entertainment world. She has years of experience in the music industry as an electronic DJ, packing clubs and venues on a regular basis, as well as having performed in her own band many years ago. Cyrus performed for the very first time at Stagecoach this year and had the audience at ‘Diplo’s HonkyTonk’ stage jumping and dancing throughout her set. Emerging artist Dasha joined her on-stage to perform the viral and chart-climbing hit “Austin” and followed it up with doing the ‘Hoedown Throwdown’ dance, made famous by Brandi’s sister, Miley. Brandi Cyrus has more performances lined up throughout the rest of the year.
Brandi Cyrus spoke with B-Sides host Pete Mar about the anticipation of performing at Stagecoach, the diversity and strong female presence at the festival, how she envisions growing as an artist and more.
