Singer-songwriter and actress Hunter Daily dropped her latest single “Girl Friend”, a sweet danceable track, at the beginning of this year under Flush Records. As the daughter of parents in the entertainment industry, namely her mother actress and singer EG Daily, Hunter’s childhood revolved around music, acoustic guitars, and finding influences within the industry. Daily’s debut EP, Die In LA (2023), demonstrates the importance of music throughout her unique childhood with a delicate vulnerability. On the title track, the LA native’s thrilling vocal harmonies are backed by a passionate piano and her relatable lyrics. “I’m a Pisces so I think that we’re emotional so I have both sides to me. In my quiet time, I have more like reflective moments where something like ‘Die In LA’ could come out of me.” she says. “I think ‘Die In LA’ is a very good little display of my experience being born and raised in LA and what that’s been like for me, and my point of view on it all.” Currently, Daily is gearing up to open for fellow singer-songwriter Leah Kate’s upcoming The Super Over tour.
