Arctic Monkeys returned to San Francisco Tuesday September 26th, performing at the Chase Center in support of their latest album ‘The Car’. In fine fashion, the UK band was vibrant with frontman Alex Turner leading the theatrics with his energy, command of the crowd and strong vocals. Leading with “Sculpture of Anything Goes” from the latest LP, the nearly sold-out crowd went wild, especially those in the front section with their homemade signs proclaiming their love for the band as they took the stage. The cheers and singing got louder as they followed it up with “Brainstorm” and “Snap Out of It” from the band’s rich catalog. Many songs from both ‘The Car’ and ‘AM’ were performed, accompanied with outstanding visuals as the band toggled between newer songs like “Perfect Sense” and “There’d Better Be A Mirrorball” with “Pretty Visitors” and “Fluorescent Adolescent” from ‘Humbug’ and ‘Favourite Worst Nightmare’ respectively. Ending the show with “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor” and “R U Mine?”, Arctic Monkeys performed a fun and exciting set that had fans satiated.
