Yung Gravy continues to churn out new bangers as his latest single, “Strawberries & Creamin’” dropped at the end of May. “Strawberries & Creamin’” was initially intended for Yung Gravy to write a jingle for the new Dr Pepper Strawberries & Cream flavor, but instead, the artist went all in and wrote a whole song for it. Yung Gravy shared, “they wanted me to make a jingle and I was like if you want me to make a song, I’m not making a jingle I’m making a whole song. So we turned it into a big thing and I literally made a song about this soda but it slapped and I was like you know what let’s put it on streaming services.” The song followed up his collaboration with bbno$ on “Goodness Gracious”, which is a prelude to their upcoming collection, “Baby Gravy 3”. The two have been friends for quite some time, as they worked together on the 2017 ‘Baby Gravy’ EP. In 2019, they reteamed on the gold-certified “Whip A Tesla” from Gravy’s album ‘Sensational’ as well as 2021’s ‘Baby Gravy 2.’ In the span of six short years, Gravy has elevated himself from SoundCloud stalwart to platinum powerhouse with three platinum and four gold singles, as well as 10 sold-out tours throughout North America, Europe and Australia, all the while garnering over six billion streams. His latest and third full-length album, “Marvelous” (Republic Records), was released in 2022 and featured the platinum-certified Billboard Hot 100 Top 30 single “Betty (Get Money).
