Fred Again..(born Fred Gibson) has seen his profile grow in 2022 exponentially that was highlighted by his performance at Coachella and his set on The Boiler Room. His new album ‘Actual Life 3’ (January 1 – September 9 2022) is set for release October 28th via Atlantic Records and is the third of his hugely successful Actual Life trilogy. The British producer, acknowledged for his past work producing for Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding and George Ezra, is currently on a tour of select cities this fall for which every show has sold out. His show in San Francisco, CA on Sept. 23rd served as a pre-cursor to his appearance at the weekend’s inaugural Portola Music Festival and was an non-stop dance party, spearheaded by the audience’s enthusiasm, energy and overall passion for his music. Accompanied by Terror (aka Tony Friend), Fred Again fed off the crowd’s energy and paused a few times in between sets to acknowledge the audience and express gratitude for their support. The set showcased Fred’s talents of live instrumentation from keyboards to electronic drums and singing from songs primarily from his first album, ‘Actual Life’ (April 14 – December 17 2020) from “Dermot (See Yourself in My Eyes)” and “Sabrina (I Am A Party)” to “Angie (I’ve Been Lost)” and the finale, “Billie (Loving Arms)”. Visuals were a huge part of the set with various interludes and lasers that brought the experience to another level and connection to the music.
