Bad Bunny performed to a sold-out crowd at RingCentral Coliseum in Oakland on Sept. 14, 2022. The highly anticipated show saw fans come early to gather and party in the parking lot as football fans would tailgate before games. The early attendance turned out to be a necessity as those who had floor seats were required to obtain a special wristband to enable them access with their ticket. Lines were quite long to be accommodated the wristbands, but once inside, fans were absolutely engaged and brought the party atmosphere to the show. The nearly 40 song set had the crowd in a frenzy as the night started off with “Moscow Mule” and “Me porto bonito” into “Un ratito”. Living up to the name of the “World’s Hottest Tour”, Bad Bunny was engaging and energetic, accompanied by dancers and a beach-like backdrop of a palm trees, sand and even a beach chair. Born Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, Bad Bunny put on a thoroughly entertaining full-scale production filled with the elevated crane that took him around the audience high above the ground, as well as a gigantic square catwalk in front of the stage that saw him engaging with fans, making eye contact and express his gratitude directly. The “World’s Hottest Tour” lived up to expectations and then some, as Bad Bunny brought a show that had all the right songs, plenty of visual stimulation and most importantly, passion.
