The moment gave her confidence in pursuing music full-time and the Vietnamese-American artist now boasts over two million streams on Spotify along with a fanbase that has been growing steadily. Thuy gained additional exposure after Khloe Kardashian used her song “Daydream” in one of her TikTok videos in 2021. She told flaunt, “In the middle of singing the cover, one of my fans DMs me on Instagram. I’m looking up and I’m singing, while also looking at the message. “Khloe just posted your song on her story.” What?” Thuy released the deluxe version of her debut album i hope you see this on May 30, with five new songs showcasing the artist’s incredible vibe and killer lyrics. Her music is inspired by 2000s icons like Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, and Brandy, showing her love for genre-mixing to create songs that make people feel less alone.
