VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Griff at Outside Lands 2022

UK artist Griff has had busy 2022, which started off with her debut North American headlining run earlier this year, a European tour that included opening for Dua Lipa and has more on the way. Since releasing her latest EP, ‘One Foot In Front Of The Other’ last year, the BRITs Rising Star award winner has released a handful of collaborations including “Head on Fire” with Sigrid that also had an updated version with King Princess and Mø. The twenty-one year-old artist recently performed at major US festivals this summer like Lollapalooza and most recently at Outside Lands at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco, which has humbled her, stating, “I’m from a tiny village just outside of London, so to come overseas, to come to America and play an iconic place like this doesn’t stop being surreal.” Griff will be opening for Coldplay at Wembley Stadium on August 12th-13th, play Summer Sonic in Japan before embarking on slew of dates in September with Ed Sheeran and returns to the U.S. perform with Florence + The Machine at the Hollywood Bowl on October 14th.

Griff spoke with B-Sides host Pete Mar at Outside Lands to talk about playing the iconic festival, what she learned from touring with Dua Lipa, plans for new music and more.
