With the release of her new single “Sunburn,” spill tab shares her first new recordings of 2022 and coincides with the start of her upcoming North American tour dates with Wallows. Speaking on playing new live shows, spill tab stated, “I’m honestly so excited to meet those that have been supporting the music in 2022. So far my favorite thing about touring has been getting to talk to and hang with the people who’ve listened and vibed with the project, so I’m stoked to finally get to do more of that.” “Sunburn” follows up material on her EP ‘Bonnie’that was released late last year that saw the Los Angeles native garner critical acclaim for forward-thinking tracks with a line up of well-cast collaborators. Chicago rapper Tommy Genesis performs on the glitchy “Indecisive”, JAWNY chants playfully across “Grade A”, and “Velcro” unveils a duet moment between spill tab and Gus Dapperton. Her talents have also caught the ears of Metronomy, who invited her to appear on their surprise EP ‘Posse’, featuring and co-producing on the track “Uneasy”. Spill tab had spent a good portion of 2021 on the road, having opened for both Gus Dapperton and JAWNY for their respective North American tours.
