The 2022 ‘Outside Lands’’ set has been announced! The festival will return to Golden Gate Park on August 5-7. The lineup includes headliners Green Day, Post Malone, and SZA. Other notable performers announced are Jack Harlow, Phoebe Bridgers, Disclosure, Kali Uchis, Mitski and Illenium who’s billed to performing a special hometown set, among others.
Among the most anticipated acts are musician and actor Dominic Fike, who notably debuted in HBO’s Euphoria prior, indie band Wet Leg, who, after the stellar success of their single ‘Angelica’, released their self-titled debut album, and Russia-based activist band Pussy Riot. Joining Pussy Riot are other international acts, which include German powerhouse vocalist Zoe Wees, who recently released her new single ‘Lonely’, English musician Griff, who is currently supporting Dua Lipa on her ‘Future Nostalgia’ tour, and Australian electro pop five-piece ‘Parcels’, among others.
Outside Lands notably returned to Golden Gate park last October for a Halloween themed edition of the festival after the pandemic. This year, ‘Outside Lands’ will return in the summer, as usual. Headliners include pop-punk superstars Green Day, who hail from the Bay Area, rapper Post Malone, and R&B starlet SZA. The lineup is more diverse than ever, and is described as “perfect mix of genres and artists from all over the world”. More than 90 artists are featured on the lineup this year, broadening the horizons of the festival and ensuring musical discovery throughout its duration. The SOMA tent also returns, after its unveiling in 2021.
