Finneas has been touring with his sister Billie Eilish and performing his own set throughout the year, sometimes opening for her and most recently played his own set at Austin City Limits. That set was a sneak peek of the music on his debut EP ‘Blood Harmony,’ which was just released on October 4th via OYOY. The singer/songwriter kicked off his sold-out North American headlining tour in San Francisco at August Hall.
The energetic crowd came early as they were lined up for hours before doors and they reached a frenzy when the lights went down before Finneas took the stage. Emerging in a white suit, Finneas sat at the piano to start the chords of “I Lost a Friend” that turned the crowd into a huge sing-along. It would continue as went into “Shelter” and “I Don’t Miss You At All”. He would take a moment to acknowledge the passionate fanbase, notably a fan named Oscar, who Finneas noted has been to numerous shows front and center and expressed his gratitude for him and all the fans. Performing solo on-stage and alternating between guitar and piano, Finneas impressed with the snappy “I Don’t Miss You at All”, “Partners in Crime” and “Claudia”, the latter which was dedicated to his girlfriend Claudia Sulewski, who Finneas pointed to in the audience prior to starting the song. With no encore, Finneas would end with “Let’s Fall in Love For The Night”, which was exactly how the crowd was feeling from start to finish.
