VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Barns Courtney Talks ’99’, Writing New Music

In just a few years, Barns Courtney has already surpassed a quarter of a billion cumulative streams globally, including more than 115 million streams in the U.S. The singer/songwriter released his debut album, The Attractions Of Youth, in late 2017 to positive reviews, led by the strength of the songs “Fire” and “Glitter & Gold,” which got great exposure on commercial radio with the former used in the movie, Burnt that stars Bradley Cooper, who helped get the song featured during the end credits and soundtrack. Courtney has been touring non-stop on the strength of his debut, having played numerous headline shows, festivals and more recently, opening for The Wombats. Just days ago, Courtney’s collaboration with The Prodigy was released, the track “Give Me A Signal” was co-written by him and showcases his vocals and is featured on the legendary electronic groups’ first studio album since 1992, Experience.
