Los Angeles-based duo Frenship had only been making music together for a short time before breaking through with the track “Capsize”, off of their EP Truce in 2016. The track garnered over half a billion streams, garnered mainstream radio airplay and achieved multiple gold and platinum certifications around the world. They played numerous festivals including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands and Life Is Beautiful, along with an opening slot for British indie band Bastille on their European and U.S. treks last year. The band came back in 2018 with a handful of new tracks including “Mi Amore”, “GOODMORNING, Goodbye” and “Love Somebody”. They embarked on a brief slew of tour dates this year that included Bonnaroo and will play Voodoo Music Festival in October.
