Los Angeles-based band, courtship. have been on the road with various acts the last six months, having just wrapped up their tour with English bands The Hunna and Coasts, which followed up their earlier run with The Wombats at the beginning of 2018. The duo have been showcasing tracks from their recently released debut album, Denial In Paradise that came out on May 11, 2018. Comprised of Eli Hirsch [guitar, vocals] and Micah Gordon [keyboard, vocals], courtship. have been building a strong following since the release of “Stop For Nothing” in 2016. The band has garnered critical acclaim for their catchy and airy melodies as the track “Sunroof” was featured in a Snapchat campaign in 2017. The band will be back on the road with Night Riots this June.
courtship. spoke with B-Sides during their recent San Francisco tour stop prior to the album release to talk about their formation, Eli’s musical journey that led him from Portland, OR to Los Angeles, the band’s debut album and more. Check out the interview:
