Three years after his debut album, Rise, Lane 8, aka Daniel Goldstein, is back with his second album Little By Little via his own imprint, This Never Happened, released on January 19, 2018. Lane 8 has been responsible for one of dance music’s most unique word-of-mouth success stories in the past 18 months; specifically his no-phones, no-filming event concept This Never Happened. His new album features emerging vocalists including, Patrick Baker, Fractures Solomon Grey and singer-songwriter J.F. July. The album’s first single “No Captain,” was released late 2017 and features Channy Leaneagh of POLIÇA. Lane 8 had made an impressive debut with many of his Soundcloud releases, which enabled him to sign with the Anjunadeep record label label and his critically acclaimed 2015 debut Rise.
B-Sides met up with Lane 8 at SnowGlobe Music Festival 2017 to talk about the new album, his live performances, fatherhood and more.
