UK band, Sundara Karma formed while the members were friends during their childhood with big ambitions. They’ve steadily grown their reputation as an energetic and captivating live band over the years, as well as garnering praise from NME, The Guardian, Harper’s Bazaar, Annie Mac at BBC Radio 1 and numerous other outlets. The band made a splash with the tracks “She Said” and “Loveblood,” which lead singer/songwriter Oscar Pollock said is ”inspired by Oscar Wilde’s short story ‘Lord Arthur Savile’s Crime.’ The story is a mystery about the unexplainable, and that theme has a huge inspiration in our music.” The band has been on a roll since the start of the year, having opened for Two Door Cinema Club and recently made their SXSW debut earlier this spring. The band’s debut album, Youth is Only Ever Fun in Retrospect, was released earlier this year to strong reviews.
