In a just a couple of hours, the Atlanta Motor Speedway will be transformed into a submerging water-world rippling with art and bass. Imagine Music Festival 2016 will capture over 25,000 visitors with electronic sound by Adventure Club, Benny Benassi, Excision, Gramatik, Nero, Borgore, Zeds Dead, Steve Angello and many more. There will be pool parties, water slides, 3D water holograms, mermaids and more.As one of the few independent festival in the USA, IMF has been crushing the summer festival scene with dynamic lineups and an over the top festival experience. Their venues are transformed into an experiences with the help of circus troupes, art, performers, dancers, workshops, classes and a blend of music led by top of the notch guests.
Imagine Music Fest imagines of captivating all senses and to start off the entertainment , they will be introducing picturesque performers from Cirque USA. Whether running into these characters on stage doing crazy maneuvers or while on your walk to the Dillon Francis stage, you can’t help but stop for a bit and admire.
With a good clear forecast ahead, being surrounded by water effects will be a huge plus. It will be easy to enjoy a cool off with all day pool parties and water activities featuring top acts. The Astral Arts Camp will be hosting live paint, art galleries, yoga, meditation, flow arts shows, and other surprises starting early in the day and going deep into the night. The Temple of Knowledge will share lectures on sacred geometry, the Fibonacci sequence, the mastery of life and shine light as to what Wisdom Keepers are. Guests will lead talks and workshops to create a soothing atmosphere while the drum circles bring fire as dancers flow to the music.
To top off, the festival has partnered with AQUA who will be bringing all eyes on stage as 3D holograms compete with captivating light shows. There is also great anticipation for a arts spaces where you can run into Andrea Brooks who will be leading harp stings about 100 feet off the ground. That was read correctly; pictures will follow.
The lineup in past years has included Dada Life, Chromeo, Fedde Le Grand, Crystal Castles, and Infected Mushrooms to mention a few. This year there will continue to be music representing all electronic music. Borgeous always puts on an energizing show while 12th Planet drowns you in bass. Dillon Francis will compete with himself as he makes an appearance as his alter ego DJ Hanzel and himself. TEED will start the dance party with groovy beats while EOTO gives contrast. The lineup even includes the Ying Yang twins and more.
