Electronic producer and performer Big Wild is off to a solid start in his young career. The Massachusetts native he’s riding high after the exposure of his track “After gold” was featured on an Apple commercial. Big Wild, the moniker for Jackson Stell, majored in music at Northeastern University while working on beats and running his own DJ service. Graduating in 2013, Big Wild received positive recognition for his remixes and was invited to play South by Southwest in 2015. Opening for high profile acts such as Griz and Odesza, Big Wild is gaining new fans who are undoubtedly eager to hear more new material from the talented producer.
B-Sides caught up with Big Wild during Snowglobe 2015 where he was performing on New Year’s Eve. Speaking with host, Pete Mar, he talked about the chance encounter which led to his first live performance opening for Odesza in San Francisco, plans for more original material and more.
