2015 has been a breakout year for London-based band, Wolf Alice. The band kicked off the year blowing away audiences at SXSW 2015 in the lead up to the release of their debut, My Love Is Cool. A rigorous tour schedule that included numerous festival stops at Glastonbury, Lollapalooza in Berlin, Outside Lands, Austin City Limits and others helped catapult the band’s profile amongst critics and fans alike while simultaneously, the track “Bros” got strong airplay at US alternative rock radio. It was just announced that My Love Is Coolis nominated for this year’s prestigious Mercury Prize, an annual music prize awarded for the best album from the United Kingdom and Ireland. The winner will be announced on November 20, 2015. Wolf Alice performed an energetic and tight set at The Chapel in San Francisco, CA on Oct. 15, 2015, as one of the last headlining tour U.S. tour stops for the year before they head off to Europe.
