With days three and four of X Games Austin 2015 came a weekend of heat in the mid 90’s and high humidity, as well as amazing spectacles of action sports. Curren Caples won the gold in Skateboard Park while Scott Speed took gold in Rally Car on the other side of the circuit. Saturday was action packed with BMX dirt and big air, as well as MotoX Speed and Style. Kyle Baldock was able to 3-peat, winning gold for the third time in a row in BMX Dirt. Colton Satterfield landed the first ever double flair on the mega ramp in front of a record setting crowd, taking home his second gold medal in a row in the event. Over on the MotoX Speed and Style track, Nate Adams won gold in dramatic fashion after Blake Williams crashed around a turn on the final lap. Ending out the weekend was the crowd favorite, Skateboard Street. This year’s event was noted for having one of the biggest, most progressive courses the athletes had ridden. Nyjah Huston came away with the gold once again, while Ryan Sheckler returned to the podium with a bronze medal.
