Liverpool band, Circa Waves is one of our favorite bands On-Radar at B-Sides On-Air. Lead singer, Kieran Shudall, had been in other bands but it wasn’t until he met the other members of Circa Waves did things start to click. Meeting at the Liverpool Sound City festival, the band members formed a quick bond and have created catchy garage rock that has resonated with a growing fan base that helped the band get signed to Virgin Records. The quartet released their EP “Young Chasers” in June 2014 and plans for a full-length are slated to be released in early 2015.
Circa Waves met up with B-Sides On-Air host, Pete Mar, during their San Francisco tour stop at the Independent to talk about their formation, the rapid path in which their career has taken, thus far and more.
