Los Angeles, the entertainment capital of the world, has long drawn many seeking to make it in music, film and entertainment. Such was the case with how the band Grizfolk came together. Singer-songwriter, Adam Roth left Florida for a new start and more opportunities, as did Swedish producers Fredrik Eriksson and Sebastian Fritze. The three combined their various influences, Roth with a sense of making the Americana he grew up around whereas the Swedes brought electro-pop influences. The amalgamation of the two sounds brought about much attention as the band added two more members and subsequently signed with Virgin Records.
B-Sides caught up with the Los Angeles-based band during their recent stop in San Francisco. The band spoke about their origins with B-Sides host, Pete Mar, as well as their impending debut album, celebrity crushes and more. Check out the interview and get to know Grizfolk!
