The track, “Beware The Dog” by The Griswolds, has been dominating alt-rock radio and even topped our weekly top 10 here at B-Sides. The Australian band spent most of 2014 touring the U.S. and was invited to play SXSW earlier this year. Having achieved unexpected success in their home country after achieving radio airplay on Australian radio Triple J, The Griswolds didn’t even have a band name when they released their debut EP, “Heart Of A Lion” in late 2012. “Be Impressive” is the band’s debut album that was released in late August 2014. The band recently spoke with B-Sides host, Pete Mar, about the band’s origins, life on the road and more. Beware, their origins are not what you read on the internet!
During a recent visit to play Popscene at the Rickshaw Stop in San Francisco, The Griswolds were on tour with Minature Tigers and Finish Ticket. The band spoke about Chatroulette, touring throughout America and the intimacy of the band! Check it out!
