Originally from Michigan, but later moved to Austin, Texas is singer/songwriter Dana Falconberry. Falconberry’s music has been inspired by writers, artists, and films, as well as the different landmarks she visited as a child, such as the Great Lakes State’s Leelanau Peninsula. The singer/songwriter has recently released her single “Palmless,” which will officially release on a 12″ record to Public Hi-Fi Records on April 19th, 2014. The song begins with a fast reoccurring tamborine beat with breaks of guitar solo, that play throughout the background of the track. Falconberry’s quiet voice, pop music, and story time lyrics, provide the listener with a story rather than just a tune. Fans of Regina Spektor and Allison Crowe should check out Dana Falconberry.
