Originally from Elmhurst, Illinois is the rock band known as The Orwells. The band consists of singer Mario Cuomo, guitarist Dominic Corso, guitarist Matt O’Keefe, bassist Grant Brinner, and drummer Henry Brinner. The 5 piece met each other back in high school, Cuomo and Corso cousins and Henry and Grant Brinner are twin brothers. The band was discovered by Aquarium Drunkard blogger Justin Gage, who signed them to his record label Autumn Tone in 2012. In August of that year they released their debut album Remember When. In 2013 they released their first EP Other Voices in June and their second EP Who Needs You in September. Their hit single “Other Voices” is featured on their first EP and has a very summer hard rock vibe! The jam features loud lyrics and heavy guitar playing throughout the track’s entirety, it is the perfect song for a road trip. Fans of The Hives and The Vines should check out The Orwells!
