The Postal Service To Release Deluxe Version of Give Up, Reunite

The Postal Service will be releasing a deluxe 10th anniversary edition of their album, Give Up. The band will also tour later this year in commemoration of their landmark album, which may include a Coachella date. The deluxe anniversary edition is a remastered version of Give Up and will contain 15 additional tracks that includes two new songs, “A Tattered Line of String” and “Turn Around”.

The electro-pop duo consists of Ben Gibbard of Death Cab For Cutie and Jimmy Tamborello of Dntel. Although Gibbard has performed tracks from The Postal Service during live shows acoustically, the band hasn’t performed together since 2003. The deluxe 10th anniversary edition of Give Up will be released on April 8, 2013 in UK/Europe and on April 9, 2013 in North America.
