Over the course of the last year and a half, Hinds has released a few singles, played 16 shows at SXSW 2015 and garnered support from numerous online publications. The Madrid-based band comprised of Ana Perrote, Carlotta Cosials, Ade Martin and Amber Grimbergen was founded by Perrote and Cosials after meeting via ex-boyfriends and have been making music that’s connected with a growing fan-base. Hinds has been on the road for most of the year, touring as headliners with Public Access T.V. as well having opened for Glass Animals and this past weekend, performed at Pitchfork Music Festival Paris and will be at Iceland Airwaves, November 4-8. Prior to touring this year, Hinds spent most of 2014 writing and recording their debut album, Leave Me Alone, which the band describes as, “the 12 faces of love”. Leave Me Alone is set for release in early 2016.
B-Sides On-Air met up with Hinds during their recent San Francisco tour stop to talk about their formation, their debut album and more.
