VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Gorgon City Talks Recent Success, Live Sets

gorgon cityGorgon City is comprised of North London producers Matt Robson-Scott and Kye Gibbon.  The pair met while performing individually as ”Foamo”(Gibbon) and ”RackNRuin”(Robson-Scott).  Each had taken their own path towards creating their unique sound influenced by the UK electronic music scene that included garage, jungle house and drum and bass.  The duo has built a strong following within a short time-span after joining forces and releasing their debut album, “Sirens” in late 2014.  Invited back to perform Coachella 2015 after a successful appearance on the smaller Do-Lab stage in 2014, Gorgon City has recently incorporated live musicians and singers into a live set, which they’ve been showcasing on their current tour.

B-Sides On-Air met up with Gorgon City during their appearance at the Treasure Island Music Festival 2015.  The pair spoke about the success in America, working their new live sets and more.
