Australian band Sheppard has been on a roll in 2015, with a tour schedule taking them around the world, including tours with Keith Urban, Meghan Trainor and eventually their own headline tour. The band broke out into the mainstream with the track, “Geronimo”, taken from their debut album, Bombs Away, which is certified gold in their native Australia. The band, featuring siblings, George Sheppard, Amy Sheppard and Emma Sheppard, initially started in 2009 as a duo of George and Amy and expanded into a six-piece as their sound started to fill out. Spending the majority of the year touring the U.S., Sheppard played the iconic Lollapalooza and most recently, Austin City Limits.
B-Sides On-Air caught up with Sheppard during the first weekend of Austin City Limits 2015 to talk about their recent success, playing in Austin and more.
