RECAP: Lights All Night 2016

lanbs24Lights All Night marked its seventh year with even more lights, effects, and talent.  For two days, the Dallas Market Hall was transformed into a raver’s paradise with the massive Mothership main stage equipped with state of the art screens and affects, the Satellite stage that was home to a variety of dubstep, trap, and trance, and the Silent Pyramid for anyone craving a nonstop silent disco.

Highlights from the first night included memorable sets from Tchami, Above & Beyond, and Zedd.  Although each drew a slightly different crowd, all three sets included a mix of old favorites and newer material that created vibes of nostalgia among the high energy crowd.  Over at the satellite stage, Kayzo and then 12th… Continue reading

Texas Gets Ready to Ring in 2017 at Lights All Night

p1030764Lights All Night returns to Dallas bigger than ever before, even with adding a sister show in El Paso on New Years Eve.  Now in its seventh year, the festival has become Texas’ largest EDM festival.  Ravers from last year will return to the Dallas Market Hall for the two day festival, but will be pleasantly surprised at the promised overhaul of the venue layout designed to make entering more efficient.  The event will also be broadcasted live this year so that no one has to worry about missing any moments despite a few scheduling conflicts.

Wolfgang Gartner and Tommy Trash have teamed up for a fall North American Tour that kicked off at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, CA. B-Sides got a glimpse of the performance at the tour’s second stop at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA. The event was competing with the larger 2 day event, Beyond Wonderland, at nearby Mountain View, CA but regardless the duo brought in a very full and energtic crowd that was packed with strong mixes and showcased each at their finest. PHOTOS: Boston Calling Music Festival: Day Two


Passion Pit headlined the second day of the Boston Calling Music festival during a gorgeous warm day in downtown Boston. The East Coast-based band capped off a day that featured many electronic acts including, Major Lazer, Flume and Wolfgang Gartner.
