VIDEO: INTERVIEW – Pond Talk Recording New Material, Hip-Hop Influence

Just last month, Pond released new music with the track, "Burnt Out Star," out now via Interscope Records, their first new material since the acclaimed album The Weather that came out out last year. The Weather was the band's seventh studio album and garnered immense critical praise and was produced by Kevin Parker of Tame Impala. The band has been on tour off and on since the release of the album, having played numerous festivals including Coachella, Primavera and End of The Road in 2017 and this year's Bonnaroo and Shaky Knees in the U.S. The band


Australian band Pond came together in 2008, the band was created by two members of the band Tame Impala. Pond consists of Nick Albrook (guitarist) and Jay Watson (drummer) - both from Tame Impala, along with Joseph Orion, Jamie Terry, and Cam Avery. The idea behind the band was that everyone in it could play what instrument they wanted in a collaborative music project.
