The 2018 edition of Austin City Limits was highly anticipated ever since the lineup was announced earlier in the year with much of the buzz on iconic headliners in Paul McCartney and Metallica. PHOTO REVIEW: Inaugural Adult Swim Festival

Last weekend Adult Swim hosted its inaugural music/comedy fest, the aptly named, Adult Swim Festival. The two-day festival featured an eclectic mix of music: guttural metal-punk, backpack rap and a healthy dose of hipster faves. On the comedy side of things, there were some pretty noteworthy comedians, with Hannibal Buress being the most familiar stand-up. Presumably, the common theme of the weekend was the nebulous relationships between the artists and the adult-oriented offshoot from Cartoon Network. Boston Calling used 2018 to prove it has come quite a long way. From it's modest beginnings as a more indie affair in Government Center, to contender for festival lineup of the year at Harvard's Athletic Complex, this years edition featured plenty of things to boast about. REVIEW: Lightning In A Bottle 2018 Highlighted By Communal Spirit

The 2018 edition of Lightning in a Bottle took place through the Memorial Day Weekend in Bradley, CA and exceeded all expectations. It was the fifth year for the multi-faceted boutique festival at Lake San Antonio and second year in a row in which festival attendees could enjoy the nourishing vibes of the lake. Highlighted by the multitude of musical offerings, the invited artists were also in awe of the experience of the festival, as performers Sofi Tukker, Nao, Anderson.Paak & The Free Nationals amongst others noted the uniqueness of Lightning in a Bottle during their sets. 16142
