Texas Gets Ready to Ring in 2017 at Lights All Night

p1030764Lights All Night returns to Dallas bigger than ever before, even with adding a sister show in El Paso on New Years Eve.  Now in its seventh year, the festival has become Texas’ largest EDM festival.  Ravers from last year will return to the Dallas Market Hall for the two day festival, but will be pleasantly surprised at the promised overhaul of the venue layout designed to make entering more efficient.  The event will also be broadcasted live this year so that no one has to worry about missing any moments despite a few scheduling conflicts.

Day For Night Lights Up Houston

 

unspecified-copy-4Describing Houston’s Day For Night as a music festival just doesn’t cut it. The idea behind the new festival is to showcase artists with a talent for highly visual performances all while exhibiting massive art installations by artists from all over the world.

After hearing about the festival back in September, I watched all of the promo videos and trailers and I still arrived in Houston not really sure what to expect.  So is this a festival?  An art exhibition? I found that Day For Night falls somewhere in the middle of the two labels, all while surpassing any previous expectations.

Wildlife Miami 2016 returns for Miami Music Week

WildlifeMiamiThe Wildlife  is starting this Thursday. Spring breakers and EDM lovers will unite to bathe and dance to the wildest tunes at a pool party and night affair  headlined by Disclosure. For its second year in a row, Wildlife is making a Miami Music Week appearance in what’s expected to be a sunny couple of days in South Beach, Florida. The event will begin on Thursday at the Delano Beach Club and will continue the following night at Wynwood’s MAPS BACKLOT venue. Last year, the event featured hot funky beats by Claude VonStroke, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Felix Da Housecat, and Just Blaze, among others.

Life is colorful in South Florida; at least for the duration of last Saturday it was. Committee Entertainment brought back to Miami whats now grown to be “Life in Color”. What was once a college frat party has grown into one the the biggest worldwide edm festival chains of the moment.

ALBUM REVIEW: Steve Angello – Wild Youth

Wild Youth

Steve Angello has broken the anticipation of a solo project with a debut album surpassing all expectations. The former member of world famous EDM group Swedish House Mafia, released the first chapter of his solo project Wild Youth in November featuring six unique tracks. The singles “Children of the wild” and “Wasted love” have already hit the radio waves bringing much positive feedback for the Greek-Swedish producer, DJ and record label owner. The album is the first of two chapters, where the second which will be available on January 22nd of next year.

Insert thousands of ravers dressed up in all colors, outfits and props you can think of. Place 7 unique stages with non-stop electronic music, production unlike any other and top notch energy. To set it apart from the past two years, let’s add a light drizzle and mud for days. This was the formula for TomorrowWorld’s third year at Chattahoochee Hills, Georgia.
