Outside Lands 2014 Review + Photos

There were many standouts at the sold-out Outside Lands 2014 at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco this past weekend. This year’s lineup was led by headliners Kanye West, The Killers and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers, who were surrounded by strong talent including Arctic Monkeys, Disclosure, Death Cab for Cutie, Macklemore and more. Kanye West drew mixed reviews as “Yeezy” performed a similar set to previous outings this year. West alternated performing in a mask covering his entire face and without as he started with “Black Skinhead” and powered through setlist staples, “Stronger” and “Heartless”.

Lollapalooza 2014 Lineup Announced

The lineup for Lollapalooza 2014 has been announced and the stellar lineup includes headliners, Eminem, Outkast, Kings of Leon along with Arctic Monkeys, Calvin Harris, Skrillex, Lorde, Foster The People, Nas, Zedd The Avett Brothers, Interpol, Phantogram, CHVRCHES, Spoon, Cut Copy and more. Eminem graces the Lolla lineup for the first time ever and is part of a small set of dates the rapper will perform. Cut Copy is an electronic/dance band hailing from Australia. Formed in 2001, “Free Your Mind” is only their 4th album, which may not seem like much for having been around so long, but these guys like to take their time.
