PREVIEW: Coachella 2018 – Beyond Eminem, Beyoncé, The Weeknd

I've come to measure my years not by the arrival of January 1st, but rather by the arrival of the annual Coachella lineup announcement. This year is no different than any other in regards to the amount of disappointment plenty of people feel the need to express, but it is different in regards to the diversity of the lineup, including a list of headliners that for the first time in a while features not only no big time reunions, but also no rock acts. Let's take a look at some of the smaller font talent featured for the multi-weekend event.

Coachella 2016 Lineup Announced: Guns N’ Roses, LCD Soundsystem To Reunite

The strong rumours of a Coachella headlining reunion by the legendary Guns N' Roses became reality when the lineup became official Monday night. Another noteworthy reunion was the announcement that LCD Soundsystem will also headline along with the third headliner, Calvin Harris. Stories had been running rampant throughout the holidays of the Guns N’ Roses reunion, as it will be the first show featuring co-founders Axl Rose and Slash since 1993. It hasn't been as long for LCD Soundsystem, who last played together in 2011. The rest of the Coachella lineup features Ellie Goulding, Sufjan Stevens,

It's just shy of a year since we interviewed Hozier, the studly Irish crooner, who at the time was selling out his first proper North American tour. When we interviewed him, he was playing the Red Room at Cafe 939, a 200 person capacity venue. Flash forward to now, where he is currently selling out clubs like the Hammerstein Ballroom, and House of Blues across the country. 11102

Coachella 2015: Thoughts and Recommendations

Another year, another Coachella. The line-up for the 2015 edition of the ever popular, ever famous Indio, California music festival was just released, and it's a pretty mixed bag. The headliners aren't quite as shocking or hot as last years reunited Outkast, or Arcade Fire but, there's still plenty to be excited for. Drake is still one of the biggest MC's in hip-hop, and for a reason. Jack White's live show is notoriously awesome. AC/DC might be old but, they're a band you'll definitely be bragging about seeing before you, or they, die. That being said, some of the most

Music Festivals: A Dying Art?

Music festivals are like mini-meccas for music lovers of a certain temperament. A weekend-long party filled with great music, interesting characters, and excitement at every turn are these modern day Woodstocks.
