This coming weekend marks the 23rd year anniversary of Lollapalooza. What started as an annual tour conceptualized by Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell has evolved into one of the most well known music festivals in America. After the wildly successful first installment of my diary from a music festival I've returned to finish the story. The people are clamoring to find out what it is really like to go to one of these modern Woodstocks. When we last left off I was still settling in at Firefly. Austin City Limits Music Festival 2013 has begun and the lineup of the first day performers did not disappoint. Vampire Weekend, Arctic Monkeys and Queens of the Stone Age turned in raucous performances that built up the energy of the night leading into headliners Depeche Mode and Muse. The latter exceeded the 10pm end time that was listed and continued performing until the sound cut off due to a broken generator.
