Lead singer of Foo Fighters, Dave Grohl suffered a broken leg during the band’s set in Gothenburg, Sweden. The band was in the midst of its second song, “Monkey Wrench” at Ullevi Stadium when Grohl appears to have tripped and fell off the stage. It seemed like the band was done for the night, as the rest of the band informed the crowd they’d come back when the band was at full strength and would do a few covers before leaving the stage. During their cover of “Under Pressure”, Grohl was carried onto the stage on a stretcher with his leg wrapped up and propped on a chair to continue performing.
As a result of the injury, Foo Fighters have been forced to cancel their June 14 appearance at the Pinkpop Festival, as well as their June 16 show at the AFG Arena in St. Gallen, Switzerland.
