American pop punk band Paramore recently released the music video to their new track “Ain’t It Fun” this last month! The song is an upbeat pop tune that talks about growing up from a young teenager to a real world independent adult. It mentions the freedoms adult life has to offer, thrown in with sarcasm of how it can also be challanging at times, hence the title “ain’t it fun.” The music video starts off with a message stating on “December 2nd Paramore set out to break the most world records in a music video.” The video continues by featuring band members Hayley Williams (vocals), Jeremy Davis (bassist), and Taylor York (guitarist), performing different world record attempts of destroying things in a short amount of time. These things include smashing alarm clocks, feathers, and vinyl records amongst other quirky record attempts. The video depicts the band as having fun and feeling free, this seen especially in the ending scene when the band is hanging outside of a moving car with their hands waving, yelling out, and dancing. “Ain’t It Fun” is featured on Paramore’s self-titled 2013 album, and is currently available on iTunes and Spotify.
