The Station to Station public art project on rails kicked off in Brooklyn, NY earlier this month and recently stopped at the Twin Cities, Minnesota. The exhibit is slated to hit nine cities throughout the country as it makes its way through the country from New York City and completing its tour in San Francisco at the end of September. Various musical performers ranging from Beck and Thurston Moore to Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti, Cat Power and Savages were signed up take part in the tour, with some during many dates. Alongside the music, artwork from leading artists will be prominently showcased, as well as food, literature, and film. Station to Station is sponsored by Levi’s and will raise funds through ticket sales and donations to support non-traditional programming at nine partner museums around the country.
