Taka Higashino turned in a stellar performance during the Moto X Freestyle event during the Summer XGames in Los Angeles and won gold. Adam Jones was just as impressive but fell a bit short to take silver and Nate Adams(who won gold for Speed & Style) won bronze. During the last Summer XGames in Los Angeles, CA, expectations were high for another gold win by BMX star, Garrett Reynolds. It’s International Surfing Day!

As per the California State Assembly and the Surfrider Foundation, today Wednesday, June 20 is International Surfing Day. Stating in a press release, Assmebly member Das Williams said, “I’d wake up, go surfing to start the day, take my shower at the beach showers and then step into society. At that time in my life is when I began to see the beach and our beautiful coastline as the great equalizer in the community – we can all enjoy it. X Games Teaser Released for Team Hot Wheels Double Loop Attempt

X Games 18 is just about a week away and a trailer has been released teasing Team Hot Wheels attempt at the double loop. The event will feature renowned RallyCross competitor Tanner Foust and Hollywood stunt driver Greg Tracy, as they attempt to break a World Record for racing two vehicles through a six-story double vertical loop. The record-breaking stunt will be attempted on June 30th during X Games 2012 in Los Angeles. Check out the video! 1230

X-Games Returns to Los Angeles

Tickets are now on sale for the 18th annual edition of X Games. The highly competitive competition will again take place in downtown Los Angeles at STAPLES Center, Nokia Theatre and L.A. LIVE for the Skateboard, BMX, Moto X and Rally Car events featuring more than 200 athletes competing for medals and prize money, June 28 – July 1. Two of the youngest atheletes to ever be invited, 11-year-olds phenom skateboarder, Jagger Eaton and Trey Wood have been invited to compete in this year's competition to participate in the monolithic MegaRamp during the Skateboard Big Air contest.
